He is the Chair of the Board of the American Fly Fishing Trade Association (AFFTA) and is a published freelance author for national newspapers and magazines such as Field & Stream, Outdoor Life, The Drake, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and the Lone Star Outdoor News. He lives in Dallas, Texas.
