Description

This is truly a unique fishing experience and can offer an angler both heartbreak and the possibility of a trophy brown trout, often in a single night.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
My name is Robert Thompson. I've been fishing as far back as I can remember. I caught my first brook trout at age nine, that changed things. I cast my first fly rod six years ago, that really changed things.

I was born in Montana (more years ago than I would care to admit), grew up in NE Michigan and currently reside in the south loop of Chicago with my girlfriend Deb and our dog Misa.

If I'm not fishing chances are you can find me at the local rink. I've been playing hockey since I was five. I still play in a couple leagues and coach in the winter months. My other interests include music, guitars and snow skiing.
