That show was off the charts great ; Davy is a true expert on lots of the finer details of fly fishing, and it's those small details that separate the mediocre fly fisherman from the great ones. Davy is truly one of the best ; they are difficult to find available but worth the effort. Thank You !

Enjoyed it. Gave me a lot to think about and try. I will have to look at my midges in my fly box and try more of them.

★★★★★
Davy did a great job at explaining why you would and would not do something. Most folks just answer your question but never explain the reasoning. I hope you continue these sessions on internet radio

Davy Wotton is an icon and a true flyfishing treasure for the worlds flyfishing community. Roger, once again you have preserved for posterity an interview with a legend. Thank you so much for giving us askaboutboutflyfishing.com Bob Carpenter

I thought Davy was "spot on" with his comments as they are very pertinent with my trout fishing in CO. I also didn't realize until his show that he is the author of the "Davy Knot" and I will start using it more.

★★★★★
As always, Davy Wotton is full of precise detailed info on his personally developed method of midge fishing. He includes leader construction, indicator construction, and fly recipes. All of this with the rationale for each recommendation. As he stated repeatedly, "Pay attention to the details."

Coming from Missouri and having fished in Arkansas and observed Davy with some of his clients on the White, I can attest to his abilities. Very good show

I have only listened to a few of your shows, and the last one with Davy Wotton was exceptional. It's evident that he knows his stuff, and not just on midge fishing, but all around angling. I also thoroughly enjoyed a show you had with Aaron Jasper last year. I'm usually running around, too busy to listen to the shows, but I have just had surgery, and am couch-bound for two months and my knee to heal, so I look forward to each show right now. I also was paying close attention, despite the pain meds, and won the dvd set by answering the bonus questions correctly. I anxiously await the day they arrive, to learn more about Davy and his fishing techniques and wisdom. Keep up the great show! I don't know if you have already done a show with someone that participates in competition angling, but would love to hear from someone like Lance Egan (multiple year national champion) or Dejon Hamman (founder of Trout Legend),or someone similar, but that would be awesome too. Otherwise, I really enjoy the technical/scientific aspects of fly fishing. Thanks again.

★★★★★
Very informative. The detail provided by Davy was excellent, a true. Master of the art. If there is a chance of having Davy on the show again, I would love to hear about his traditional wet fly fishing.

★★★☆☆
It really lacked the detailed information that we've come to expect from Davy, it was rather disappointing and seemed like a rehash of previous interviews.
