“GREAT SHOW!! BARRY GAVE US A LOT OF GOOD INFORMATION ON FLY FISHING FOR CARP.
I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT THERE AND TRY TO HOOK UP WITH A MONSTER CARP!!
THANKS FOR PUTTING ON THESE SHOWS, THEY ARE EXCELLENT.”
“Great show. I've been wanting desperately to go after Carp, but I'm never sure just how to approach it. Thanks Berry, I look forward to spring already. Take care all and happy fly fishing.”
“I thought this was one of your more intersting shows. There are opportunities for carp near where I live so I was very interested in what Barry had to say. Great job.”
“Usually am tied up at night therefore, do not have the opportunity to listen live, but love the podcasts..... In fact, listening to Lani Waller on Steelhead as I type this. His best line: "get all the equipment you can" or you wife will let you have. Love to go back and listen to the podcast regarding the area or type of fish I am going after.....listened to the Alec Griffin about Redfish before a trip last June to Louisiana. In fact, went to his shop that he mentioned and was told he only guides these days. Have also used the Steve Born's information for last month's trip to the Driftless area. When in Denver I stopped in Charlie Craven's shop and bought his book. Charlie was not working that week as he was at a family wedding but the book does have his autograph. I use your show's podcasts as a primer for different areas or species that I am about to visit. Love "Ask about Fly Fishing" ....... Keep up the good work!!!”
“Because of the time difference tis awkward for me to hear the shows live, so I catch them after the fact. Barry Reynolds, hugely informative as always and lots of good tips, specifically on reading the water.I have been using salmon egg without success so I'll try some more traditional patterns, nymphs and hares ear etc, see how it goes. Once again, fantastic show lads!!!!!!”
“Very good information was given and I picked up a lot. I can't wait to put this information to use on the carp in my area. I know my success with carp will increase now.”
“Roger, I find that I usually just can't find the time to listen to the real-time broadcast however listen to every show later on my iPod. I drive and travel a lot for work and that is when I have the time to listen in. Just love the shows!”
“Hi, Been enjoying your archives. I am unable to listen live. Heard Barry on carp . Very informative. Here in Lyons, there are many carp in barge canal, and big at that. I have yet to land one. I am going to sturdier tackle, more like pike. We have those in abundance as well. I liked what Barry said about how to turn them with the rod. Very informative. Our carp tend to be all dark;no orange fins, but they school in 4 feet of water. Now to find a fly they really like.”
