“I was surprised to hear that Chris does not carry a thermometer. On the hottest days of summer it would seem to be essential gear. Hoot owl regulations have become a norm in some places. Perhaps the Williams being a tailwater fishery stays a trout-safe temperature throughout the year due to the outflow that creates it. I look for the opportunity to learn something every time I listen, and this show met that expectation. The description of setting the hook using a streamer was uniquely clear to me. I have had some success with a streamer, but I believe that this information will be a help for me. Some things that experienced anglers say simply can introduce a thought that solves another angler's struggle. His use of the buckskin and sparkle fly in a dual rig was a reminder that the newest fly is not always the best fly. Thanks to Chris for sharing and to Roger for keeping this program going.”
