Description
In a fine hatch of reminiscences skillfully collected from waters near and far, readers will fish with everyone from angling legends Vince Marinaro and George Harvey to Vice President Dick Cheney. They'll experience the highs and lows of the West's storied trout waters, where Meck meets Charlie Brooks and has a painful horseback adventure to reach a seldom-fished, but trout-rich stream. And when Meck ventures into Canada's four-pound brookie lakes, or on a fly fisherman's dream-quest for New Zealand's 30-inch rainbows, readers can count on hooking a good story. Never pretentious, Meck is always learning something new about trout, insects, anglers and the way they all come together. Meck floats through the currents of these memories with honesty and appreciation. Readers are sure to rise to these skillfully cast tales.
