Bob Mallard has fly fished for over 35 years. He owned and operated Kennebec River Outfitters in Madison, Maine, from 2001 to 2014. Bob is an accomplished fly tyer and staff fly designer for Catch Fly Fishing. He has written about fly fishing, fly tying, fisheries management, and conservation for nearly fifteen years. His work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, e-zines and blogs at the local, state, regional, and national level. Bob is the Publisher and Northeast Regional Editor for Fly Fish America magazine and a columnist for Southern Trout online magazine. He is the author of Squaretail and Favorite Flies for Maine.
